The city of the third millennium is the place where information flows converge. We reinterpret the historical route of the Silk Road with a fiber optic network. A large network 10,000 km long between the Mediterranean and the Far East, a source of information and communication for the global community working together but in different geographical locations. In every city along the Silk Road there are wireless stations, a landmark, storage and dissemination of information flow for residents, travelers of caravans or of future speed trains. The towers are a micro-media space but also a symbolic focal points of the network society between global and local.
