| The project idea is to guard and preserve an art that, in between its pattern, holds the historical identity and cultural values of its own tradition. At the same time strives to introduce new areas the fabric of great value and of strong historical and cultural connotation that, reinvented and updated, it can become an innovative material that can be used in various fields, such as high fashion, furniture and art world. This requires an innovation both in the techniques of raising the silkworm with modern "bigattiere", boxes in which the silkworms are raised, which in textile production tools through the use of semi-industrial machines for the various stages of spinning, twisting and weaving, ensuring a greater economy of the producing process thus grant at the same time the regard of the peculiar characteristic of the finished product. | |||||
